The Occupational English Test is the English language test for healthcare professionals. It assesses the language communication skills of healthcare professionals who wish to register and practise in an English-speaking environment.

OET RECOGNISED COUNTRIES
OET is recognised as proof of English proficiency in Australia, Dubai, Ireland, Namibia, New Zealand, Singapore and the United Kingdom.

ELIGIBILITY
OET has been developed specifically for 12 healthcare professions: Dentistry, Dietetics, Medicine, Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Optometry, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Podiatry, Radiography, Speech Pathology and Veterinary Science.

MODULES
LISTENING – 50 MINUTES
READING – 60 MINUTES
WRITING – 45 MINUTES
SPEAKING – 20 MINUTES

VALIDITY
OET grades are valid for two years.
